At Franks Friends we provide warm, practical support that helps your loved one enjoy everyday life and stay independent at home. Every visit is tailored to the person we are supporting, whether that means cooking together, going for a walk, running errands or simply sharing a good conversation. Our aim is to bring comfort, connection and ease to your loved one, and peace of mind to you.
A gentle visit to start the day, with a friendly check in, light support with breakfast or clothing and a quick look around the home to ensure everything feels safe and comfortable.
Help with planning meals, shopping and cooking. We can cook together or for your loved one and often leave extra homemade portions for later.
Companionship for walks, café visits, local drives and shopping trips. These outings offer fresh air, routine and simple enjoyment.
Support getting to GP visits, eye tests, chiropody, hair appointments and local errands such as prescriptions, post office or bank trips.
Gentle help that keeps the home feeling cared for. This can include laundry, changing bed linen, refreshing towels and tidying key areas.
Support with sorting cupboards, wardrobes or paperwork. We work alongside your loved one to make small tasks feel manageable.
Enjoyable activities such as looking through photos, listening to music, watching classic films or sharing memories and stories.
Simple help with video calls, messaging, using a tablet or managing basic online tasks. Our goal is confidence, not complexity.
Minor repairs and safety improvements arranged through our trusted handyman partner, including grab rails, loose rug fixes and small home tasks.
Kind support for your loved one while you take a break, attend appointments or rest, knowing they are in safe and friendly company.
Franks Friends is a companionship and support service, not a personal care or medical service. We do not provide clinical care, nursing, lifting or hoisting, administering medication, bathing, or other regulated personal care tasks. Our focus is on company, confidence, everyday help and a sense of ease at home. If personal care or nursing support is needed, we can suggest that you speak with a regulated care agency or healthcare professional.
We meet with you and your loved one to learn about their personality, routines and what kind of help would feel good for them.
We create a flexible plan as a team, taking into account your family's needs and your loved one's preferences, from activities to timings.
You receive updates after visits, and we make adjustments together as things change so support always feels natural and reassuring.
I'd love to learn about your loved one and explore how Frank's Friends can bring companionship and support to their daily life. Get in touch for a friendly chat.
